12U Hester Champs – RMU Nutcracker Tournament

South Pittsburgh Rebellion would like to congratulate team 12U Hester for winning the RMU Nutcracker Tournament in their division. 🏆

It was another great week for hockey at RMU Island Sports Center where 12U Hester went into the championship with wins over Allegheny, North Pittsburgh, Mt. Lebo and a loss to the Arctic Foxes. The Rebellion would face off again against Mt. Lebo for the Championship. The Rebellion #71 Niko Grkman would score with an assist from #81 Avery Mahan in the 2nd Period and the team would hold on to that lead for the remainder of the game for a 1-0 VICTORY.

The Rebellion had a total of 🚨13 goals (Gates (5), Mahan (2), Grkman (2), Braun, Shook, Hester & Gaussa (1)) and 🍎 6 assists (Braun (2), Mahan (2), Gates & Drake (1)) in the tournament. The six man Defense lines were rock solid; Six, Rose, Tencer, Obringer, Speer & Drake assisted Netminder Parker Lemley in the Championship Game Shutout. Lemley had 100 SOG and 8 GA. It was a perfect gift for the holiday season for 12U Hester!
