Head Coach: Nicholas Minton

Nicholas Minton is entering his first season coaching at South Pittsburgh bringing 13 years of coaching experience with him; he also holds his level 5 Master coaching certificate. Coach Minton bring experience coaching in both the PAHL and PIHL. He also has worked in the scouting and player development programs for the Motor City Gamblers, a USPHL Elite program. Coach Minton Made it to the Pens Cup final in 2021 assistant coaching with Chartiers Valley. Coach Minton coaching experience includes: Arctic Foxes 16U, North Pittsburgh Wildcats 16U, Seneca Valley JV, West Allegheny JV and Varsity, Chartiers Valley Varsity Assistant Coach, Butler Varsity. Coach Minton is passionate about being able to work with the Girls 14U program and help build the girls game in the Pittsburgh Area.

  • PAHL League + Independent Games, 55+ Games
  • 3-4 Travel Tournaments
  • 2-3 Local Tournaments

TOTAL PAYMENT of $2990 =
TRYOUT FEE $200 due at time of registration
COMMITMENT FEE $500 due at registration
6 PAYMENTS OF $381.67 due July 1, August 1, September 1, October 1, November 1, and December 1 (unless paid in full)
NOTE: If you tried out for a birth year or special team, your $100 birth year or special team fee is rolled into your season fee making your monthly payments $398.33 for skaters.  Players that make the birth year team are credited back the $100 before the installments start on July 1.

Goalies
TOTAL PAYMENT of $1475 =
TRYOUT FEE $200 due at time of registration
COMMITMENT FEE $500 due at registration
6 PAYMENTS OF $129.16 due July 1, August 1, September 1, October 1, November 1, and December 1 (unless paid in full)
NOTE: If you tried out for a birth year or special team, your $100 birth year or special team fee is rolled into your season fee making your monthly payments $145.83 for goalies. Players that make the birth year team are credited back the $100 before the installments start on July 1.

What about the commitment fee?  It is refundable if you do not accept a offered roster spot within 48 hours. However if you attended a birth year or special team tryout, the BY tryout fee is deducted from the refund since it was not charged initially. Please read our fee policy for more details
