10U Kutrovac – Buffalo River Outdoor Classic Tournament Champs

South Pittsburgh Rebellion would like to congratulate team 10U Kutrovac for winning the Buffalo River Outdoor Classic Tournament in their division. 🏆

10U Kutrovac went undefeated into the championship with wins over Belle Tire (9-5), KV Rebels (5-0), Toledo Cherokee (6-4) and Montgomery Gold (5-1). The Rebellion would face off again against the Downriver Otters for the Championship. Two goals in the 3rd period: Rebellion #87 Connor Sedlak would score with an assist from #14 Anthony Dobis and #20 Owen Six then #22 Blake Higgins would score with an assist from #5 Maguire Cannon and #2 Colt Shanafelt. The team held on to that lead for the remainder of the game for a 2-0 VICTORY.

A shoutout to Goalie #29 Brayden Markovitz with two shutouts and #30 Alex Salamon with a hat trick versus Belle Tire, plus he was awarded the division MVP!

The Rebellion had a TEAM EFFORT with a total of 🚨27 goals by 9 players Salamon (7), Six (3), Cannon (4), Shanafelt, Tardio (3), King (2), Sedlak (3), Higgins (2) and Trbovich (2) and 🍎 24 assists – Kutrovac, Salamon, Six (2), Cannon (2), Shanafelt (3), Tardio, Sedlak (2), Higgins (3), Trbovich (5), Markovitz, Degyansky (2) & Dobis in the tournament.
